Mr. Campanola has a vast amount of experience in building corporate value, accelerating revenues and earnings, and gaining a competitive market position. He has demonstrated this while at GE, Verizon, and several other leading organizations in Security, Wireless, and Telecommunications. He has consulted to clients in these and other market segments.
In the field of Security he has led major product and marketing efforts targeted at both Fortune 500 customers and residential/small businesses. This included highly sophisticated software solutions meeting the U.S. Government’s HSPD-12/ FIPS 201 requirements and the global physical access needs of most of the Fortune 500 companies. Efforts also included converged cable television and residential/business security solutions for home and personal monitoring.
In Wireless and Telecommunications Mr. Campanola led various development teams and launched over 15 new products, developed successful alliances and managed 10 existing products with combined annual revenue of over $70 million. He has also led the marketing and product management efforts at a startup wireless voice messaging company.
While at Verizon, Mr. Campanola developed a 5-year ‘blueprint’ for a wireless transaction processing affiliate which provided for the future direction of the organization and was critical in the decision for Verizon to sell the company and for potential investors to pursue and ultimately purchase it from Verizon for $800 million.
Mr. Campanola also led the Marketing Department at Adelphia Security/Checkpoint Ltd. In this role he successfully re-launched and directed all marketing and advertising activities and programs which significantly increased sales leads and marketing effectiveness. These results led several investors to pursue and subsequently acquire this residential and business security firm from Adelphia.
Mr. Campanola has won national awards for marketing communications programs and has authored many articles. These achievements are indicative of the quality and caliber with which he identifies and captures opportunities to build revenues, strengthen competitive positioning, facilitate new product launches, and outperform the competition.
